The long version:

I’ve been tinkering since early childhood. Sketching dresses, constructing magazines, pretending to write my first novel, collaging my bedroom walls, staging plays with my barbies, building lego monuments, recreating the Rube Goldberg Machine from OK Go’s This Too Shall Pass (or attempting to), messing around with our old family video camera, you name it. I had a pretty restless spirit, determined to make my mark on the world.

When I turned eight I left the US for the first time. One snapshot of life abroad and I was a goner. New music, new languages, new food, new traditions, amazing people —either witnessed or befriended — my heart and my mind expanding with each new adventure.

I approach my work in this way, curious and playful. Photos are edited, then manipulated years later. Each letter is a mixture of careful observation and pure feeling, and each roll of film is filled with sentimental nostalgia, moments of my life stolen from Oblivion.

When I’m not busy helping the companies of tomorrow grow and scale their businesses in the DIFC, you can find me with my head in a book, in the kitchen cooking tacos, or on the ski slopes hitting the moguls. I am also currently learning to code, salsa dance, and attempting to relearn French.
